I am spending the entire day tomorrow writing. I have decided to take a day a week for the next several months to see if I am disciplined enough to write a book [and to see if I can actually dedicate the time required]. No promises.

I am attempting this mainly because people I trust and who know me well have said that I really should... though I am not convinced myself that I have much to say... well, I have lots to say, but I am not sure how much I have to say which is worth putting in a book.

This whole book writing thing is partly why this blog has been so sparse as of late... I have been putting some preliminary thoughts together.

Tomorrow a good friend of mine [who I have known since I was fourteen] who is also a fabulous writer and magazine editor is spending the day with me to help me begin the process, give me some direction, organize my thoughts, etc.

We will partake of the free wireless internet access at the coolest coffee house on the planet while enjoying delicious fair trade beverages.

I'll let you know how things are shaping up.
