The Freeway is raising money online between now and December 13th for The Salvation Army's Christmas Campaign. It's part of a little contest they are having for an iPod Nano... which we couldn't care less about winning, but it's for a great cause. From SalvationArmy.ca:

I am broken. I just watched your video on youtube from 100 Huntley st. and I realize that I am more broken than I knew. I was a seniour soldier with the papers filled out to go to Booth College to do youth pastor and I didn't go. My journey started when I was 15 and found the Salvation Army in Labrador City, NL. There was one old man who after 3 years of me being at the church and leading worship, praying being saved and being a good christan broke me. He told me simply that I didn't belong in his church and to this day I believed him and used it as my excuse to get away from God. My soul is broken and I can't fix it. I wish that I had the opportunity to partake in a church like yours. I'm now in St. John's, NL and there is an Army here too but I won't go. I can't. I still think I don't belong. Is that crazy?
4:46 PMI shouldn't burden you with my problems. I just wanted to tell you that I have been reading up on your church and think it is wonderful. Keep up the good work. I really enjoyed your site. Who knows maybe someday I'll make it to Hamilton and drop in for a mug of tea.
God Bless you and yours as you lead his Army.
